Bryna CurryI was introduced to yoga early on and experienced the physical awareness and mental clarity in my formative years. I've kept at it and witnessed my yoga practice and teaching evolve. Experience has taught me that yoga can take many forms, though at its core yoga is connecting to our innate oneness.
My classes are born from the steady rhythm of breath and intentionally sequenced movement. Teaching and practicing yoga for me is all about getting comfortable with discomfort whether that’s meeting a physical challenge or confronting my limiting mindsets. I strive to create physical challenge that will meet students where they are and create the possibility for expansion. When I'm not in the yoga studio I love to mountain bike, race cyclocross, ski, soak up the sun, and spend time with loved ones. Wild Thing Bend is my new yoga home and I am beyond grateful. Can't wait to see you on the mat "Initiate the breath first, movement second, savor the space between." |
Gretchen UlrichYoga has created a grounding space for me. I have been a student for 10 years and completed my 200-hour yoga teacher in 2017. I am honored to practice, teach and to continue to learn through my teachers, students and the beautiful chaos of life. Off the mat my passion is going on adventures with my sons, husband and Great Dane Dukes, and creating culinary experiments, food is medicine and I love finding ways to nourish the whole body through food.

Jessica JurèAs a yoga student I find so much joy and unconditional happiness on the mat; yoga really helped me discover my true self and deepest connection to Spirit. As a teacher I hope to inspire you to find your True North, your highest Self and your unconditional love for your body, mind and Spirit. My classes are sprinkled with laughter, tears of joy, release of tension and strong movement. When I am not practicing or learning about all-things-yoga you can find me on a bike, in the gym, on a trail, with my dog Huli, on Mt. Bachelor, sleeping in a tent, on the river, eating colorful food, creating art and always running around with my two boys Kainoa and Koa. I so look forward to meeting you!!

Kayla HeutonI grew up in Michigan but now happily call Bend, Oregon home. I was first introduced to yoga when I was thirteen years old and became a yoga teacher by the time I was nineteen. I immersed myself in practicing Ashtanga on an extended trip to Nepal and I’ve continued my yoga education with everything from Yin yoga to SUP yoga. I believe my practice helps in all aspects of life and I discover something new every time I return to the mat. As a teacher I simply want to help others discover the magic of a yoga practice.

Mary Beth ScanlonYoga has changed my body, my mind and my soul. I could not be more grateful to be able to share my passion for this practice. My vinyasa classes are light-hearted and approachable; have fun, sweat, find your edge, leave inspired. Embrace where you are in this moment, let go of what no longer serves you, turn up the music and be a witness as the highest version of YOU emerges. After five years of teaching in Detroit, Michigan, I am thrilled to join the Bend community as a student and a teacher. Other roles I play: mother of two awesome kids, wife of one pretty rad guy, puppy-mama to Buddha the Golden Retriever, sun-worshiper, hiker, workout-junkie, lover of life. See you on the mat!
