Frequently Asked Questions

About Our Studio
  • We're a mildly heated yoga studio, classes are between 80 to 85 degrees. It's below body temperature but you're going to break a light sweat.
  • If this isn't what you're looking for in a yoga studio we can recommend some other choices, there are several great options here in Bend.
  • Sign up for our monthly newsletter, we don't spam, we don't sell our email list, we just send out what's happening in our future.
  • We have two restrooms.

If You're New to Yoga
Here are some pointers:
  • Yoga has very little to do with being flexible and how good of shape you're in.
  • Wear comfortable clothes, you'll be moving a lot and will most likely break a bit of a sweat.
  • Bring a beach towel or large bath towel.
  • Bring a yoga mat if you have one, most people start with an inexpensive $20 mat from Target or somewhere similar.
  • Start with a Vinyasa 1, then after a couple of those try a Vinyasa 2, Yoga Fit class or an Intro to Meditation.
  • All yoga is NOT created equal, and one size does NOT fit all, so make sure to try a variety of teachers and classes.
  • You'll practice barefoot.
  • Bring a bottle of water.

Etiquette
  • Please arrive 5 to 15 minutes early for class
  • Please don't be late, it's disrespectful to the teacher and your fellow students. Our classes start on time and end on time. We lock the doors once class begins.
  • If you're running late, get stuck in traffic, or life just seems to happen, call or text us ten minutes before class and we'll throw a mat down for you.
  • It's common courtesy to shower before class. It's an uncomfortable conversation (for you and us) when other students complain about the smelly person in class.
  • Please don't come to class sick, hoping to "sweat it out". Flu and cold viruses spread like wildfire in a yoga class, please be respectful of your fellow students, teachers and their lives outside of the studio with their family and jobs. Rest and hydration are the best way to get better fast.
  • Remember to turn your cell phone off when you enter the studio please
